We’re looking for a hands-on mechanic who can take ownership of our fleet and keep our equipment running and job-ready.
This role is a mix of field service mechanic and equipment manager. You’ll be working out in the field and the yard, diagnosing issues, making repairs, and helping ensure our trucks and equipment are ready when crews need them.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Diagnose and repair fleet pick-up trucks, dump trucks, and construction equipment.
- Handle field repairs and respond to breakdowns on job sites.
- Troubleshoot hydraulics (dump beds/PTO), air brakes, and electrical issues.
- Operate a service truck to support crews in the field.
- Keep equipment safe, compliant, and job-ready.
- Help track maintenance, repairs, and overall fleet condition.
- Support shop/yard organization and equipment staging.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working on dump trucks, diesel engines, or heavy equipment.
- Ability to diagnose and fix problems independently.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, air brake systems, and basic electrical.
- Comfortable working both in the field and in the shop.
- CDL required.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in their work.
